Father!
Not that this recipe is a recipe that doesn't have bite. It's the recipe that we tell each other with pride, "El père didn't mess around with that, he'd down 8 of them before dinner" with the family members when the maples start to flow. Your "El père" cocktail, well, it's not exactly a joke, once again alcohol on alcohol but this cocktail will certainly make your taste buds smile for the effort. You need:
*2 ounces of COYOT
*1 ounce of almond liqueur - while you're at it, get a Quebec one, why not Wabasso 's! Click here .
*Ice
In the glass combine the COYOT and your almond liqueur in an old fashioned glass with the ice cubes - we understand that we are more about the content than the container here again so you can drink this in your favorite glass too.
Mix all of this with the handle of your palette that you use to eat taffy at the cabin (no choice, otherwise it won't taste the same).
Take a sip and take a moment to remember the greatest accomplishments of the "father", recountable or not.
