Kir of Labrador

This week we offer you a recipe that we always talk about when we meet you, the Kir du Labrador. But above all at Québécøl, we respect mathematics and a branch of mathematics that is particularly respectable is statistics. And when we see that 65% of users who visit our web page belong to a particular gender, we said to ourselves... why not make a little cocktail for our customers this week (spontaneous and disinterested idea).

So we asked the Alchemist to take off his plaid frock, look about twenty years younger, and also spend about twenty years in the gym to take this beautiful Christmas photo. The Alchemist also understood that a chicken helmet is the best way to hide that the forest is starting to thin out at the top of the mountain. Well done Daniel Boone (he always wore his raccoon helmet on the show, understand anyone who wants it and is roughly 40+).

Back to our sheep, this week we offer you our Labrador Kir which as we told you at the beginning is one of the miracle drinks that we suggest for the holidays. It is made from our Cranberry-Raspberry Liqueur and Labrador Tea and we will add it to your favorite sparkling wine/champagne.

To do all this you will need:

-Maple syrup

-Maple sugar

-12 fresh cranberries, rinsed

-4 ounces of our Cranberry-Raspberry and Labrador Tea Liqueur

-A bottle of sparkling wine or champagne (if your year was good)

You're going to start by pouring a little maple syrup on a small plate and you're going to coat the fresh cranberries well. Then you're going to put the cranberries coated with maple syrup in the maple sugar to coat them well. Let it dry a little so that the sugar sticks well to the fruit. You're going to skewer them in groups of 3 by 4 toothpicks or for the fancier ones, metal cocktail pins. Then you're going to take out 4 champagne flutes (not to be confused with the recorder or the transverse flute - the result will not be the same) and you're going to pour 1 ounce of our  Cranberry-Raspberry Liqueur and Labrador Tea and you're going to top it off with your favorite sparkling wine/champagne. You finish it all off by garnishing my glass with your cranberries dipped in syrup and sweetened with maple sugar. Give it to the visitors (in a chest or with your most beautiful Christmas vest... your choice) and look at their faces.
