The Croustard

This week we are looking at a Quebec actor that the Distillerie has definitely not looked into enough.

THE APPLE

And why didn't we look into it? To be completely honest, we tried a few times to concoct a drink with it, but the mysteries of the apple are still impenetrable to our alchemist.

But we know the motto, if we can't beat it, we might as well ally with it!

And that's what we're offering you in our little drink of the week, just a stone's throw from Halloween, explaining why we asked a Mummy to pose with the CØYØT for the event. And why the CØYØT, well obviously it's because there are some in it.

To make your recipe you will need:

-2 oz of CØYØT

-1 apple (your favorite kind)

-Cinnamon

-Maple sugar

-Hot water

-A sparkling apple cider (for real) or replace it with apple soda, why not go for MaplSoda which has an apple variety!

-A butane kitchen torch

So let's go in order, start by taking your apple and make yourself some nice slices by cutting it sideways. Don't take the course and try not to take a piece with pits. Sprinkle with cinnamon and maple sugar and pass it a little under the torch to brown without burning. You can make two like that. In a nice metal cup (ideally your Québécøl cup) made of metal from the distillery. You place the pieces of apple that you previously toasted and you crush everything with a bar pestle.

Then you add your CØYØT , the centerpiece of your very good evening and faithful companion for refreshing evenings.

You add hot water up to half the container or a little more and finish with your sparkling apple cider or apple soda. As we were saying earlier, why not try something new with MaplSoda.
