The Luau

Alright, this recipe comes from way back. In fact, it aims to combine our national maple syrup with some more exotic ingredients such as the coffee from our Coffee and Chili Liqueur and coconut. What does that give you? It literally transports your taste buds to the South, and for not too much money besides! For $40, taxes included, per bottle, you save on airport hassle, lost luggage, crying babies on the plane, the guy in front reclining his seat in your face while you're watching your movie... and to your advantage, you can do all of this in the comfort of your own home.

But listen, darling, reality is not far from fiction, as they have already produced maple syrup in New Zealand (and I'm not even kidding). So once again, the Québécøl team invents delicious cøcktails for you that are not far from historical reality.

(You're welcome).

So to make the Luau, you'll need:

-2 oz of our Québécøl coffee-chili

-1 oz of freshly brewed espresso

-1/2 oz of coconut cream

-1/2 oz of maple syrup

-Ice cubes

-Cocoa powder

-A few coffee beans

So you're going to start by filling your favorite shaker (it could be two half coconuts that you could also use as a bikini for the occasion... sustainable development 101, babe) with ice and then you're going to add your Québécøl coffee-chili. You're going to shake it vigorously until your fingers can no longer hold onto the shaker (if they are coconuts, let's say you'll shake "abundantly"). Then you're going to strain it into a martini glass or a cocktail glass. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top and elegantly place two to three coffee beans on it, and enjoy your Luau. If you're really indulgent (indulgent, Luau, theme), you can put a few small marshmallows instead of coffee beans on top and torch them. You're welcome.
