The Pascal Holy Drink
This week we're going with the parable because, yes, Easter is approaching, and what happens at Easter? We find parables in chocolate eggs left by a rabbit.
Does that sound weird to you? Well, check out our Easter bunny!
It's the kind of rabbit that's burned into your memory, or the type of Easter bunny that will quickly turn into a Halloween rabbit if you cross paths with it too late in the woods.
The kind of rabbit that when your little one tells you:
-Look, mom/dad, a rabbit
-Hold my hand, darling, and look straight ahead - DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT
And why are we offering you an exact replica of a stuffed animal that the Alchemist had until he was 25? Because Easter this year is strange. If you want to know why, it's simple, just turn on the TV.
Back to our rabbits, your little drink of the week isn't just a little drink, it's a Saint Boire Pascal (or SBP as the insiders would say). To make it, it's not super complicated; you'll need a few sips of our Smoked Juniper and Maple Mistelle (still in season as sugaring season is drawing to a close).
Here we go (don't look him in the eyes, we told you):
-1 and 3/4 oz of our Smoked Juniper and Maple Mistelle
-2 and 3/4 oz of hot chocolate
-An espresso
-Whipped cream (don't say whipped too close to the rabbit)
-Chocolate shavings
So it's not the most complicated thing once you're there. You're going to put all the liquids together. You're going to mix them with your beautiful long bar spoon. Then you're going to top it with whipped cream (at worst, go get the can from the bedroom), and garnish it with small chocolate shavings. As simple as saying "I think the rabbit is looking at me... I'm going to go now."
Happy Easter, my darling!
