Made with maple syrup

At Québécøl, we have set ourselves the goal of making you drink all the colors. We present to you our already famous mistelle of juniper and smoked maple ( Gin-réduit by its little name) , a tribute to this classic drink from the time of sugaring anchored in the very heart of the maple tradition. Legend even says that the gin-réduit arrived at the cabin before the maple syrup!

Our smoked maple gin offers you an instant teleportation to a sugar shack with its gin with forest aromas and a touch of magic that brings back so many memories.

For sugar shack insiders, the reputation of gin-reduction is well established. For the others, here is the story: In all the sugar shacks in Quebec, for as long as Quebecers can remember, there has always been a bottle of gin on the windowsill. From the faithful Geneva bottle by De Kuyper in the time of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, we have now moved on to finer gins, but the tradition remains the same: we collect maple reduction (between maple water and maple syrup) straight from the boiler, add gin and voila! This is how we keep our courage during the long nights of boiling when the maple water flows freely!

You can drink it cold or as a bar, or if you're feeling nostalgic, warm like at the cabin! At home, we place the bottle in front of the wood stove before going out to play outside, that way the Gin-réduit is nice and warm when we get back and ready to be enjoyed in front of the stove while we slowly thaw our toes. Otherwise, since it's pre-mixed and only 20% alcohol, it's ready to be drunk at any time: after watering the rest of the snow bank, following the first motorcycle ride of the year, on Santa's lap or while picnicking in the maple grove on a beautiful fall afternoon.

Our Québécøl (Quebec alcohol) is 100% local, and contains only the good stuff!

100% St-Romain

All of the distillery's products are made in the municipality of St-Romain, on the border between Estrie and Beauce. Maple syrup is produced on the Érablière École site and everything is overseen by the St-Romain Development Committee. The Distillerie CDSR du Granit is therefore a community project led by people who are proud of their region and their heritage. We are happy to share our passion with true alcohol lovers and die-hard maple promoters.

Maple Artisans

At Québécøl, we like to do things differently, and that of course includes our maple products. In order to represent our efforts to offer you maple differently, we chose the name Québécøl, this molecule found in maple syrup and associated with a multitude of benefits ( learn more ). Much more than classic maple products, what we offer you is a whole new variation of maple products. We can be proud of the potential of our maple syrup and with good reason, since Quebec is the world's largest producer of this unique product!
