The Beleuats (Robervaltin)

Hey there, amateur!

This recipe is inspired by our friends from Lac Saint-Jean and their mythical fruit - the famous blueberry. Not only is Lac Saint-Jean the place where you can find the most blueberries in Quebec, but at the Distillery, we also have a particularly popular liqueur that features said blueberry, which is our Fir-Blueberry Liqueur.

Let's be frank, it's like a blueberry martini... it has a kick, so prepare your taste buds because this is certainly a little drink that will help you get through your day, especially when it's -400°C outside.

Back to our blueberries, here are the ingredients:

-1 oz of our Fir-Blueberry Liqueur

-2 oz of your favorite vodka

-0.5 oz of lemon juice

-0.5 oz of maple syrup

-Ice

-Fresh blueberries (optional)

-Fresh mint (optional)

So, you're going to put all the above ingredients into your shaker with ice and shake it vigorously for 15-20 seconds (count 15-20 Jonquièretinis). After that, strain it into a nice martini glass. You can put 2-3 large blueberries on a cocktail skewer for garnish and complete with fresh mint leaves as well.
