The Special Bouilleux

It's hard to talk about all our products without giving an honorable mention to our Ptit Réduit, which is the Smoked Juniper and Maple Mistelle. We also had no choice but to give it the bear as its mythical animal, as the réduit is a classic spring and sugar shack drink, and what wakes up in the spring? Well, our bear friends (they are our friends, but we don't advise you to go hug them when you see one in the spring). This week's cocktail combines unique flavors of cognac and pineapple with our mythical Smoked Juniper and Maple Mistelle. To make your cocktail you will need:

-1 oz and 2/3 of cognac

-2 tablespoons of maple syrup

-1/2 oz of our Smoked Juniper and Maple Mistelle

-3/4 oz of pineapple juice

-1/2 oz of lemon juice

-1 pinch of Îles de la Madeleine salt

-Ice

-Pineapple wedge

You'll start by putting a good old "old fashioned" glass in the freezer and letting it chill a bit. After that, you can cut yourself a pineapple wedge and prepare it for the garnish on the rim of your glass. Place all ingredients in a shaker (except the pineapple wedge) and shake until the mixture is cold. Remove the glass from the freezer, place ice in it, and strain the shaken mixture, filtering it beforehand. Garnish with the pineapple slice.
