P'tit Réduit - How do you drink that?

 

You can drink Le P'tit Réduit just like our grandfathers and anyone who has worked in a sugar shack: nice and hot!
Yep, in a sugar shack, we mix this delicious little drink by taking a good ladleful of "réduit" directly from the evaporator (between maple water and syrup, "réduit" is like a "not-yet-ready" syrup), and then adding a good swig of juniper distillate!

Since we're offering it to you "pre-mixed," you have 3 options. You can drink it:

  • Hot
  • Cold
  • At room temperature
At our place, before heading into the woods, we put the bottle near the wood stove, so when we come back, it's nice and hot, and perfect for tasting by the fire!

Or at room temperature, in the woods, while waiting for the perfect moment 🦌

Ça c’est la paye de tout bon builleur… Le gin réduit devrait être reconnue comme LA boisson Québécoise…
