Halloween Vol. 2 (HT2)
We know that for many of you, autumn means re-watching our favorite movies about juvenile wizards attending magic schools. We're not naming names to avoid receiving an Halloween letter from their lawyers (that's genuinely scary, folks), but we all know who we're talking about. Anyway, this week we decided to whip up something for you in the "pumpkin juice" concept, based on the adventures of Horry Patter (a knowing wink while keeping one eye on the street, anxiously awaiting the bailiff).
What's more, the nice thing about it is that we always wonder what to do with the wilting pumpkin on the porch. Well, my dear, Québécøl always has you in mind to turn your waste into a mixological adventure. To achieve this, however, you'll need a good bottle of our CØYØT and a bottle of our exceptional maple wine, the 2Ø. You'll say, we knew there was a catch, and you're right, let's celebrate now with a good cøcktail ;-)
So, to make your cocktail this week, you'll need:
-1 cup of CØYØT (Halloween is on Friday, so we're going all out)
-2 cups of our exceptional maple wine, the 2Ø
-1 cup of fresh apple juice (it's still apple season, you should manage)
-15 oz of pumpkin puree (or you make it yourself with the one on your balcony)
-1/4 cup of apricot jam
-1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
-1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
After that, it's frighteningly easy (thematic here), in a blender, you're going to put the apple juice, the CØYØT, and finally, you put everything in the blender. Then, you set it to high for a good 30 seconds. Put ice in glasses afterward and serve. You can use any glasses you want, but stemless coupes seem Halloween-ish. Otherwise, serve in a skull... your choice.
