Granite Pickelade

Always in our habit of getting you out of your comfort zone, this week we're offering you a new way to look at lemonade. In addition to being incredibly refreshing, it's super original and features our award-winning Pickle Juniper Liqueur (aka Djinn-pickle). Otherwise, to prove to you that it was very trendy, we would have told you that it's very trendy in the States, but we're not so sure that's a reference anymore these days. That being said, you must start by making your pickelade, which by the way is also very good without alcohol... except it's summer, we're not here to punish ourselves either.

So we're starting with the pickelade, you'll need:

-7 large lemons at room temperature

-1 cup of maple syrup

-3 cups of filtered water

-1 cup of pickle juice

So you're going to start by extracting the juice from your lemons, and once you have good lemon juice, you're going to mix it with all the other ingredients. So far, it's not that complicated.

After that, that's pretty much where the magic will happen, you're going to take your pickelade and add your Pickle Juniper Liqueur, but be careful here... it's a matter of dosage.

-3 ounces of Pickle Juniper Liqueur

-5 ounces of your pickelade

-Ice

So fill your favorite glass with ice (but grab a summer glass for someone who's thirsty) and add plenty of good ice. Top with your Pickle Juniper Liqueur then your pickelade.

And there you have it - you've just created the Granit Pickelade, the ideal weapon to fight and eventually forget the heatwave!
