The Chasse-Galerie

As you know, at Québécøl, we always go with the seasons and appropriately use elements of our folklore. So this week, our cocktail is the Chasse-Galerie.

What... that's not when the legend took place, is it?

At Christmas?....

Yeah...

Well, we think the guys logging in the woods have the right to see their families not just at Christmas, even if it means making a pact with the devil and all that.

If it's spring, why wouldn't they use usual means to go see their families?

Let's stop asking questions and just enjoy this beautiful drink, OK?

So this week, the cocktail will take you a little out of your comfort zone, but it still has style, so even if you wear a big beard and a plaid shirt, you won't be embarrassed to walk around with this exquisite mixture in your martini glass.

You'll need:

-3/4 oz of our mythical CØYØT

-3/4 oz of Aperol

-3/4 oz of Jagermeister

-3/4 oz of fresh lemon juice

-ice

You're going to put all the ingredients in a shaker (with ice, of course) and shake it like the devil is chasing you... though if you called him to fly your canoe, don't run... it's a bit counterproductive. In short, shake it until your shaker is cold as winter at Christmas (we're making up for the concept). Then you'll strain it into a martini glass.
