The Cornite

Hello to you the amateur,

This week we went with a subtle play on words combining cornichon and été thus creating Le Cornité. I can already see your face, mouth wide open and mystified by our clever linguistic manipulations. This week it's hot in the shop and we decided to offer you a refreshing cocktail featuring again this week our newly returned Gum-pickle liqueur .

To do this you will need:

-7 mint leaves

-3 slices of cucumber

-2 ounces of our Juniper and Pickle Liqueur

-3/4 ounces lemon juice

-3/4 ounce maple syrup

-summer ice cream

-Cucumber slices for garnish

You start by putting the mint and cucumber slices in the bottom of the shaker after which you will pour the rest of the ingredients in the same shaker. You will put some summer ice in there (colder than winter ice, it is scientifically known) and you shake it until the shaker is as cold as cold. You then filter it into a nice cocktail glass on the top, whether it is a coupe or a "highball" glass. You finish all this by garnishing me with cucumber slices and/or mint leaves.
