The Cornite
Greetings, enthusiast,
this week we went with a subtle play on words combining "pickle" and "summer" to create Le Cornité. I can already see your face, mouth agape and mystified by our clever linguistic manipulations. This week it's hot in the shop, and we decided to offer you a refreshing cocktail, once again featuring our newly returned Juniper and Pickle Liqueur (aka Pickle).
To make it, you'll need:
-7 mint leaves
-3 cucumber slices
-2 ounces of our Juniper and Pickle Liqueur
-3/4 ounce lemon juice
-3/4 ounce maple syrup
-summer ice
-Cucumber slices for garnish
You start by placing the mint and cucumber slices at the bottom of the shaker, then you pour the rest of the ingredients into the same shaker. You'll add some summer ice (colder than winter ice, it's scientifically known) and shake it until the shaker is ice-cold. Afterward, you strain it into a nice cocktail glass, whether it's a coupe or a highball glass. You finish it all off by garnishing with cucumber slices and/or mint leaves.
