The Medalist - Volume 3

This week we conclude the celebrations surrounding our medals (in case you haven't heard enough, 4 of our products won medals at the Nation's Cup) with the last (but not least) of our products that won a gold medal at the Nation's Cup, and I've noted the Pickle Juniper Liqueur (aka Djinn-pickle). And since we know you're quite daring, this week we're offering you a slightly bolder recipe. We're talking about an adventure for the taste buds for true pickle lovers. You think that sounds naughty? Well, ABSOLUTELY NOT! For once. And this week's recipe is made for celebrating, so it practically comes by the pitcher.

You will need:

-1 cup cold pickle juice (straight from the jar)

-1/2 cup of our Pickle Juniper Liqueur (aka Djinn-pickle)

-1 tablespoon lime juice

-1/2 teaspoon chili powder or "Tajín" Mexican spices

-2 cups ice

-1/2 cup pickles cut into strips

-Medium grain salt for "rimming" the glasses (a knowing wink) or "Tajín" spices if you found them

Preparation:

We'll start by "rimming" the glasses, meaning we'll use a lime wedge and rub it around the rim to moisten them well "now we exchange passionate glances." Then dip them in the spices or salt. Afterwards, we'll make our pickle slushie, so in a blender we'll combine: pickle juice, the Djinn-pickle, lime juice, chili powder or the other spice, and ice.

Then blend it all passionately until you get a homogeneous, rich, and sensual consistency.

Finally, pour the mixture into the previously "rimmed" glasses and add pickle slices cut into strips on the side as a garnish, or you can also place pieces on a small metal skewer that you rest on the glass. Don't hesitate to use margarita glasses here.

Another proof that pickles can be used for many things!
