The Four Rivers
This weekend we were with the gang from Délices d'Automne in Trois-Rivières and it was a really great party. So we said to ourselves, the people of Trois-Rivières, maybe they don't see us often but one thing is certain, they are people who know how to celebrate.
Then we said to ourselves... what is better than three rivers... easy answer with our advanced maths... the Quatre-Rivières!
And that's the cocktail we're offering you this week to highlight the fact that we've had a great trip across the river combined with the fact that our cranberry liqueur is gradually migrating from our vats to the bottles to reach your mouth, you, our friendly customer.
So it's very easy this week (not that the other weeks were complicated) but this week we're keeping it simple.
It will take you:
-1 oz and 1/2 of our Cranberry-Raspberry and Labrador Tea Liqueur
-1 oz and 1/2 of red Vermouth
- lemon zest
- Ice cubes
In your favorite glass (once again, we suggest the old mustard jars that are lying around in the cupboard at the cottage... you know the ones with symbols of hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs?), you're going to put a few ice cubes and pour in our Cranberry-Raspberry and Labrador Tea Liqueur and, incidentally, the Vermouth (our liqueur is just as good on its own). You're going to stir it with the long cocktail spoon (a clean paint palette can also do the job in a crisis) and you're going to garnish it all with a lemon zest. Tadaaaaaam!
