St. Hyacinthe

Hey friends, this week, in honor of our visit to St-Hyacinthe for the 2025 Agricultural Show, we've decided to once again whip up something unique for you as a cocktail... the St-Hyacinthe. Do we have inspiration or what?

One great thing about St-Hyacinthe is that, compared to Granit, there's practically no snow... based on that alone, we're considering moving the Distillery here. But what's more, the folks in St-Hyacinthe... not only do they deserve a good little drink, but they also know what to do with it, if you catch my drift.

So, we're offering you the St-Hyacinthe, ideal after a day on the farm... and what's more, it's just pure goodness. Plus, to top it all off, it combines our now legendary CØYØT, the one and only maple bourbon style. Here, we're not telling you that we bought cheap bourbon and whisky and added syrup to it... noooooo. We're telling you that we made something close to a bourbon, without being sweet, with our 100% maple alcohol, aged with oak and roasted maple wood according to the Québécøl method.

To make this, you'll need:

-an apple

-vanilla with a dropper

-maple sugar

-maple syrup

-bitters

-CØYØT

-marshmallows

-ice

You'll start by slicing a nice apple slice, onto which you'll put a few drops of vanilla. Then you'll sprinkle it with maple sugar. After that, you'll get out your butane torch and lightly torch the top of your apple slice. Put the "treated" slice into a large beer mug (at the bottom) and add a nice drizzle of maple syrup. You'll add a few drops of "bitters," then you'll take your muddler and gently crush everything together. Then you'll add a few ounces of our CØYØT over that and add about ten ice cubes. Stir it with your nice long bar spoon.

Now you're ready for the cocktail's presentation.

You'll put two large ice cubes in a whisky glass. Then you'll lightly torch your marshmallows (1 or 2) and place them on the ice. After that, pour the mixture you prepared in the large beer mug, filtering it through a funnel, and try to make it run over the marshmallow(s).

And there you have it, buddy, you're ready for action!
