The Rate

Like many, we've been waiting a while to bring you this one (about a month, roughly). So, after everything happening with our neighbors to the south, we decided to find you a little drink that will cure your anxiety. Le Tarif, also known by friends of the house as the CØYØT-Sour, is a cocktail made with our now revered CØYØT.

But for those who don't know, let us introduce CØYØT.

CØYØT is our spirit, still 100% maple, which we have aged with oak and maple wood to give you a concoction that will remind you of good old Tennessee Jack. And right now, as American bourbon leaves our shelves, it's now or never to discover something better and LOCAL. Nothing says more local than a spirit made 100% from our maple syrup in St-Romain, fermented and distilled on site at the Distillery, then combined with wood from our forests roasted with our unique roasting techniques.

But I see you with a little drool at the corner of your mouth, let's stop talking and give you the recipe.

You'll need:

-CØYØT, 2 oz

-Lemon juice, 4 oz

-Maple syrup, about 1 oz to taste

-A few drops of Angostura Bitters

Grab your favorite shaker, add all ingredients and a few ice cubes. Close the shaker and shake vigorously until the shaker becomes cold in your hand. Then, add a few ice cubes to a whiskey glass and strain the contents of the shaker into it.

Now you can unsubscribe from all streaming software and just listen to the news; it's sad to say but reality now surpasses fiction (but you'll save $$ and stop encouraging our neighbors to the south)
