And that's how the Alchemist found himself, visibly barefoot, arm in arm with a Simon the Squirrel (it wasn't love between these two) at midnight in the middle of Times Square.

Now that you know the ending, it doesn't tell you how it all started. Well, sit down, man, it all started with a mistake that has since become The Mistake (hence the title).

And what's cursed about it... is that L'Erreur makes it withBlueberry-fir liqueur and theBlueberry-fir liqueur ... it's almost sold out!!!

To make the mistake you will need:

-400 mL of dry white wine

-200 mL ofQuébécøl Blueberry and Fir Liqueur

-100 mL of Triple Sec

-1 lime wedge

In a crystal carafe (a juice pitcher doesn't taste as good but it does the job), add all the ingredients, a few ice cubes and you can stir it up with a big mixologist's spoon.

Serve it in the little crystal cups that go with the pitcher or an antique Calgary Olympics cup you found in camp. Sit back and relax... you don't know where that drink is going to take you.
