No Game
Hello darlings,
This week, we're taking you out of your comfort zone. Not in the sense of taking you to an Asian restaurant and showing you an aquarium where you don't recognize any of the animals and telling you "pick one for dinner," but rather using an ingredient you wouldn't have thought of for your cocktail. In fact, you might have thought of it, but not enough to talk about it publicly, and I'm talking about – your pasta water!
And you know what, my dear? It's even trendy. So, in this case, stepping out of your comfort zone is cool! You'll be able to go to work this morning with your head held high, looking at your colleagues and thinking to yourself... I'm cool. And yes, my dear, you are cool.
So, to make this recipe, you'll need:
-2 oz of our Juniper Berry Pickle Liqueur (aka Pickle)
-2 and a half teaspoons of your pasta water after cooking (at least room temperature)
-2 and a half teaspoons of olive juice (alternatively, you can use pickle juice if you're a pickle fanatic)
-Olive on a small stick for garnish (if you choose pickle juice... guess what you put on the small stick?)
Put the ingredients in your favorite shaker (don't use the bad shaker, treat yourself today) with ice. Then shake it for at least 30 seconds or until your fingers get cold on the shaker. Afterward, double-strain it into a martini glass.
