Pickle Creek

For the truly observant, you'll recognize the Alchemist in his younger years, when he was still attending University (where he made his bread and butter) and before he donned the cassock, the tinfoil hat, and started yelling at pigeons (even when there are no pigeons around... we're starting to get worried).

In the series of cocktail names adjusted just a bit to avoid legal issues, this week we present the Pickle Creek. A new take for pickle lovers.

To make the Pickle Creek you will need:

-1 1/2 oz of our Juniper Pickle Liqueur (aka Pickle)

-5 oz club soda

-1 oz lime juice

-1/2 oz maple syrup

-5 cucumber slices

-Ice cubes

-1 cucumber strip leftover from the last time you made sushi.

In a tall glass (not like the guy's glass in the photo, he didn't quite grasp the concept and since we had already invested $4k in pickles, we decided to leave it as is) start by adding the cucumber slices and muddle them with your big... cocktail muddler (phew!). Add a few ice cubes, then add everything else. Swirl it with a nice big cocktail spoon or your favorite skewer, then finish it off with your sushi cucumber slice.
