Santini
Now that our Christmas decorations are out, we've decided to go "all in" on the holiday theme. Since this week we're layering the last weekend of deer hunting in several zones with the snow that arrived much too early (seriously, it's really spoiling us too much this year, he says as he books 2 months in the south), we decided to make you an abominable photo montage. And we're taking advantage of it because we specifically have a VERY seasonal product, namely Cranberry, Raspberry, and Labrador Tea Liqueur. And you have to enjoy it while it's here because, much like the holidays, it only comes once a year (my liver is all the better for it). So the concept is a bit like a martini... but with cranberry. I think at that point, we should have seen it coming.
To make your Santini, you will need:
-2.5 oz of Cranberry, Raspberry, and Labrador Tea Liqueur (only at Québécøl)
-0.5 oz Cointreau
-0.5 oz lemon juice
-0.5 oz maple syrup
-rosemary and fresh cranberries for garnish
First, add all ingredients except those intended for garnish into a shaker filled with ice. Then shake vigorously until the mixture is cold. After that, strain into a pre-chilled martini glass. To finish, add a sprig of fresh rosemary and a few cranberries for presentation.
