Breton Syrup
Who doesn't know Lambert syrup? If you don't know it by taste, at least you know it by reputation.
Well this week, we offer you our own version of a syrup against the flu (covid and everything else, it's versatile). It's the Breton syrup which takes its name from our favorite future ex-politician.
This week we are therefore leaving ourblueberry-fir liqueur a little behind in favor of our flagship product, G in-Réduit . We are taking notes... here we go.
You will take me:
-1oz Reduced Gin
-1oz of Jägermeister
-1oz of green mint cream
And then you have two choices:
Assumed version: You place all the ingredients in a shaker and add a tablespoon of maple syrup. You add a few ice cubes, you shake vigorously and you strain the ice into your favorite cocktail glass.
Stealth version: Start by taking an old bottle of cough syrup, put it in the dishwasher. Then mix it all in a nice big measuring cup. You can multiply the recipe as many times as you want by adding a tablespoon of maple syrup each time. Once in the clean bottle, add the cap and stir it all together. Now, in this beautiful flu season, your Breton Syrup can follow you wherever you go ;-)
