Breton Syrup
Who doesn't know Lambert syrup? If you don't know it by taste, at least you know it by reputation.
Well, this week, we're offering you our own version of a flu syrup (for Covid and everything else, it's versatile). It's the Breton syrup, named after our favorite future ex-politician.
So this week, we're setting aside our blueberry-fir liqueur a bit, in favor of our flagship product, P'tit Réduit. Let's take notes... here we go.
You'll need:
-1oz of P'tit Réduit
-1oz of Jägermeister
-1oz of green crème de menthe
And then you have two choices:
Acknowledged version: Place all ingredients in a shaker and add one tablespoon of maple syrup. Add a few ice cubes, shake vigorously, and strain the ice into your favorite cocktail glass.
Stealth version: Start by taking an old cough syrup bottle, run it through the dishwasher. Then mix everything in a nice large measuring cup. You can multiply the recipe as many times as you want, adding a tablespoon of maple syrup each time. Once in the clean bottle, add the cap and shake it well. Now, in this beautiful flu season, your Breton Syrup can follow you wherever you go ;-)
