Spicy Pickle Pete

This week we're tackling one of our products that we've neglected. We've sort of left it aside because it's hard to talk about without the conversation getting... you'll see. So this week our featured product is the Juniper and Pickle Liqueur, affectionately nicknamed "Pickle." And here at Québécøl, we love nature and the Quebec forest, so we thought what better way to present this week's cocktail than with a lumberjack holding his pickle (see what I meant by "the conversation getting...")? But don't worry, our friend Pete is just holding a pickle in the photo; up to this point, it's your mind that's in the gutter.

As spring progresses, and spring is the season of love (it's sliding, it's sliding), we thought it's high time for you to spice things up in your life, and that's why we've made you this wonderful recipe.

It's more complicated than usual, but we thought you're ready to put in the effort to get that great pickle taste in your mouth (okay, we just messed up there, but we were careful until this point).

So you'll need:

-1 oz of our Juniper and Pickle Liqueur

-2 oz pickle juice

-1/2 oz lime juice

-2 dashes hot sauce (like Tabasco - stay focused)

-1/4 teaspoon chili powder

-1/2 light beer, or even one with a pandemic virus name

Garnish: one pickle slice and one lime wedge

First, put your Juniper and Pickle Liqueur, pickle juice, lime juice, hot sauce, and chili powder into a shaker. Add ice to the shaker and shake it up. Pour the mixture into a glass filled with ice and then top with your half beer. Stir gently with an axe handle, or, in a pinch, with a spoon. Garnish with a pickle slice and a lime wedge.
