Made with maple syrup

When coffee crossed the ocean to arrive in the New World, no one suspected that one day it would meet maple in the depths of a Quebec sugar bush.

And yet... some encounters seem predetermined.

With its coffee and hot pepper liqueur, Québécøl brings together two great souls of the Americas in a single bottle: the deep richness of Colombian coffee and the warm character of Quebec maple. A dialogue between the South and the North. Between volcanic lands, boreal forests... and fire.

The coffee, roasted by Brûlerie Faro, develops dark, roasted, and almost chocolatey notes that naturally pair with maple. Why? Because deep down, they speak the same language: that of caramelization, fire, and time.

When maple syrup is heated in evaporators for hours, magic happens. The sugars transform, become more complex, developing deep aromas sometimes reminiscent of burnt caramel, roasted coffee, or even dark cocoa. This famous Maillard reaction—the one that gives as much character to toast as it does to freshly roasted coffee—becomes the bridge between two worlds here.

The result is rich, enveloping, and surprisingly vibrant.

First come the notes of dark maple and freshly roasted coffee. Then, quietly, almost stealthily, the warmth of the peppers settles in. Not an aggressive burn. More of a slow, comforting warmth, like a fire that continues to live long after the flames have died down.

This liqueur seems to have been designed for long autumn evenings, discussions that stretch too late, impromptu desserts, and cocktails that become traditions.

It transforms an Espresso Martini into something truly boreal.
It reinvents the Black Russian.
It even gives birth to completely crazy creations like our Coffee Bloody Caesar or the Menterie—an improbable mix of lemonade and coffee that makes absolutely no sense... until the first sip.

On its own, on ice, in a dessert, or even in a marinade, it always leaves the same impression: that of having discovered something thought impossible.

Because deep down, this bottle also tells the story of Quebec:
a territory that takes what the world brings it... then transforms it into something entirely new.
