Jackalope

To make your jackalope this week, you'll absolutely need our Balsam Fir Blueberry Liqueur, which we are actually producing right now! The Alchemist loved his encounter with the jackalope in the undergrowth of Saint-Romain so much that he decided to make it the mythical animal of our equally mythical product. What's beautiful about this is that we've discovered the affection between blueberry and balsam fir in the past, but here, we reveal its hidden love for lemon! All thanks to Pierre, the wisest of all the wise men of Saint-Romain! Before you go there, you'll need:

-8 oz of our Balsam Fir Blueberry Liqueur

-1/2 oz of lemon juice

-10 oz of frozen lemonade

-2 tablespoons of blueberry jam

-Powdered maple sugar (for the rim)

-Fresh blueberries and lemon slices for garnish

-Ice

And for garnish, fresh lemons and blueberries. You'll start by rubbing a lemon wedge around the rim of your glasses (you can use highball glasses here - we give you permission) and then dip them in powdered maple sugar. After that, mix the blueberry jam with the lemon juice in a small separate bowl. In a blender, mix the Balsam Fir Blueberry Liqueur with the frozen lemonade and add a few ice cubes. Start the blender and add ice as needed to get a "slushy" consistency. Then, add a tablespoon of the jam and lemon juice mixture to the bottom of your glass. Fill the glass with the lemonade mixed with the Balsam Fir Blueberry Liqueur, then top with a second spoonful of the lemon juice and blueberry jam mixture. You can finish with a lemon slice and a few blueberries for garnish.
