No Game

Why not "game"?

Because this week's cocktail is far from intuitive. In the sense that we are combining things that have never been combined. Like in the 80s movie Ghostbusters, it's a bit like crossing the streams. At first, you think it's wrong, but after the first time, it becomes the norm. Once again, the Alchemist writing this recipe this morning congratulates himself for not making any bawdy connotations in these last sentences. We know, however, that you are capable of thinking crooked on your own. So here this week we are going to combine our Spritz Boréal with... tatataaaaaaa our Pickle! It's as daring as jumping through a flaming canyon on a motorcycle (hence the image).

Pick yourself up from under your chair and try this; to do so, you'll need:

-2 beautiful ripe strawberries

-3-4 fresh mint leaves

-2 ounces of our Pickle

-3/4 ounce of lemon juice

-2 ounces of our Spritz Boréal

-Crushed ice

-1 ounce of Montellier lemon sparkling water.

Put the strawberries and mint at the bottom of a whisky glass and muddle them with your cocktail muddler. If you're not that fancy, that's fine, do it in a normal bowl with the potato masher you use for mashed potatoes. Add the Pickle, lemon juice, and Spritz Boréal. Add your crushed ice until it reaches 3/4 of the rim. Add a splash of lemon sparkling water (like an ounce, but we trust you). Stir it, add a little more Spritz Boréal if needed, and it's ready to serve.

If you made it this far, we're proud of you, you're "game."
