Spring
This recipe is not only a tribute to a beautiful Harmonium song but will allow you to discover the junction between sugaring-off season and the beginning of summer. Okay, okay, when it snows every day you don't feel like summer yet, but I'm telling you, we won't even think about it when we have our teeth full of flies when we go for a motorcycle ride this summer. This week's recipe combines two of our seasonal products. In fact, one is seasonal, the Smoked Juniper and Maple Mistelle (aka "ptit réduit"), and the other is for early summer, our Strawberry Melon and Rhubarb Liqueur. Together, they will give you a beautiful little pink cocktail... PINK! Think what you want, it's worth trying at least once. Plus, if you make this for guests, you'll once again pass for the Mozart of mixologists. Just for that, it's worth it.
Let's go in order, you'll need:
-1 and 3/4 oz of our Smoked Juniper and Maple Mistelle (aka "ptit réduit")
-3/4 oz of our Strawberry-Melon-Rhubarb Liqueur (aka Spritz Boréal)
-2 and 3/4 oz of ice-cold milk
-Ice cubes
Grab a tall glass (since we're not super fancy, we'll call it a giraffe glass) and fill it with ice cubes. Pour the milk and the Smoked Juniper and Maple Mistelle first over the ice. Then, add the Strawberry-Melon-Rhubarb Liqueur and stir gently with your long bar spoon.
